Area Map -- Lodging is easy to find, and getting here is easy too.  We're the closest major ski resort to Denver, and we're also close to Rocky Mountain National Park for your summer time fun.   The Winter Park ski area and the towns of Winter Park & Fraser Colorado are located North of Interstate 70 along Highway 40.  Winter Park and Fraser are separated by only about 2 miles. Fraser and Winter Park are linked by a free shuttle bus system that also travels to the Winter Park Ski Resort. Getting to the Winter Park area From Denver, or DIA, take I-70 Westbound to exit 232 (signs for Winter Park mark this exit). Take Hwy 40 North, over Berthoud Pass.  Once over the pass and into the Fraser Valley, you'll pass by the Winter Park ski resort, then the town of Winter Park and finally the town of Fraser (in that order).
